Shock legend and actor, MARILYN MANSON‘s‘s anticipated follow-up to his last success, The Pale Emperor has passed the Valentine’s deadline and now has changed its name, as well.
According to Metal Hammer, during a brief interview on the red carpet event for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, the new record will be titled Heaven Upside Down, instead of the original tease, Say10.
Manson said: “It’s not very much in any way like The pale Emperor. The people who have heard the new songs said it reminded them of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals – but with a new, different approach.
“It’s pretty violent in its nature for some reason. It’s not emotional in the same way. It’s got a chip on its shoulder. I can’t wait for people to hear it – I think they’re going to be quite surprised.”
Manson iterates that the work is ‘finished’ and he’s planning to tour in July. Further details to follow.
